    Hi guys,

Noticed there aren't any real guides or combat routines/guides for people to follow at all in regards to botting. While I'll be playing legit, I've also no idea what to aim for as far as a 'new season' is concerned. Starting during this season to get used to it.

It's gonna be a long-way journey for you mastering the art of Path of Exile, if your just starting.
Some people get everything within a month, some can't get it after a couple of years.
What I could suggest you is to learn the game first before bothering about botting.
Thread above will help you to get going with botting, while hundreds of actual gameplay and reading through guides will do for PoE in general. Engineering Eternity's youtube series of guides is good to starth with from what I can tell.

3.3 is going to have a big set of skill reworks, breaking CRs, so new ones will most likely have to be made.

There's no need for any guides though - the game has been "Path of AoE" for years now, and if you watch 3.3 preview content, it's more the same. All you want it something that can facetank + has great AoE and uses skills that will always hit your target so you can avoid desync issues.

For example, the freezing pulse projectile tends to clip walls and doorways or other random obstacles, so it's not a good skill to use if you're not watching your bot and paying attention. Skills like Firestorm/Rain of Arrows/Blast Rain, on the other hand, are amazing since they fall from the sky, and can always hit your target and won't be obstructed.

Arc, is terrible for AoE groups because if you have an allies cannot die behind the front lines, it will never reach the target, and you'll eventually get stuck or die. Glacial Cascade, is great because it's a long wide forward facing attack that doesn't have that issue.

It's just stuff like that which you learn from playing the game that makes the biggest difference when botting. You want as simple as possible, unless you're willing to write routine logic for complex skill interactions which just aren't worth the time in this game because of how it works.

Our generic routine's focus has been skills that you spam and facetank with, and that's going to be it for the foreseeable future. The time investment and maintenance of trying to make amazing combat logic just isn't worth it in this game given how much changes so frequently. Routine updates are planned for 3.3, but there's no easy solution to the problem this game presents when it comes to combat logic vs other games with a much more limited set of skills and gameplay mechanics.
