      is there a way to change the description of processes running? i know you can "rename" the process to another exe program but the description still gives it away!

      They don't monitor ram.. If they did I would be banned too, which is still not the case after over 5 years.

      Thanks for the heads up :)

      Unfortunately, the HB authorization process uses both the product version (PRODUCTVERSION) and the file version (FILEVERSION) attributes to authorize/authenticate the program.
      If you change one (or both) of those numbers, HB won't run.

      Which means, that Blizzard will still be able to find a string like "2.5.8507.419" and this would be enough to identify HB.

      LOL, its always fun to see what type of crazy ideas and thoughts get thrown out there on the bans section. I am sry to anyone that has lost an account i have been there. Its all just a guess on how they really detect us, i have an account i with lazyraider or tyreal only, dont farm or any of those automations on it been doing it for yrs no problems. went into gold selling earlier this yr and around the time of other HB scares of ban waves i got hit on 2 of my 3 farmers, in 1 night. all 3 were running but 2 were banned when i got home and the 3rd was still flying around farming and it was actually linked to the 2nd accnt banned and had almost identical email and under the same name. but the 2 unrelated accnts got the bans. i still have the 3rd and it still farms for me no problems out of blizzard.
