i changed now simplefollow settings stay in party to off and changed in leaders profile stayInParty="True" to stayInParty="False" now there is again the start delay at profile start until all followers are in party (back to standarts) so stay in party funtion is no more a help for me. and anyway all my followers have homing pads equipped and when they teleport to leader by SF (wich is mostly the wrong one) they get disturbed while teleporting by enemys but if they teleport to town and then to leader they woudn't get disturbed and join leaders location faster and more succsessfully. just like in older versions of SF. isnt there a stamp at portraits with who has the crown (lead of the group) tagged somehow for DB for him to figure out who is party leader because it is not always the one at second place. the IP config funcion (bind adress) is great and works like a charm ! thanks for that !!! thanks
For sure, I totally get it.. As i replied to many posts, stating that there is not a way to preform such a function currently that it would need to be a plugin designed, I guess if enough people get want it and reply to your thread maybe someone can make it happen for you all.. I just want my simplefollow to work right! Simplefollow could use some major TLC.. F' them ppl whining about their trinity spelldelays not working, and lets get some simplefollow 100% again..
Following bots get very laggy especially if the profile is based on trinityexploredungeon tag and while bot is following the leader. (Not laggy at first.. But gradually getting laggy and become almost like slow motion) Getting in combat with monsters it is recoverd and works at the normal speed. And get laggy again right after it starts to follow the leader. So, I looked into the logs and found something. During the combat i can see like 3 messages in 1 second from leaderbot. (Since update interval is 300ms, It seems right) but while following the leader, there are tons of message spamming from leaderbot. (at least below 50~100ms) I think this might be the reason why the following bots get super laggy. there might be too many messages from leader-bot to handle while following process. Could you look into this and fix this Rrrix? now I'm running Bounty Quest And my following bots hardly can perform following.
now i tried to change back to a older version of simple follow that they join leader via townrun again but it wont work because adventure starts in act 5 and there wasnt act 5 for older versions of Simple follow
Yeah, I'm starting to think simplefollow is no longer supported.. My simplefollow posts and PM's just go unanswered/ignored ..
hahahaha I was just poking some fun @ rrrix. I knew while I was writing that post: It wont be long before a coolguy comes along with a.... "Rrrix does more then work on simplefollow.. Rrrix has a life... etc" I was right, 9 minutes. +1 Like for being Coolguy. Also I thought I was pretty calm.
As expected, rifts were meant to be the goto for farming gear as blizz has always intended to be. On one hand we can finally have people stop requesting useless/soon to be oudated features and plugins from devs, but on the other it brings some new challenges. Seems like it would be greatly beneficial if in future versions (down the line, after a working fix to its current state) for leader to be able to ping for a tally of follower rift shard fragment count, when the leader is out. This way, the leader can communicate to have one of the followers open a rift portal to continue. Seems feasible, but then again, currently I just want the basics to work again
Simplefollow in bounties+rifts and legendaries trading between leader and followers will be the future of this bot. For me, this would be the prio @Drazz446 can you confirm that follower is not taking leader's banners in adventure mode?
Can someone confirm that this is working properly? I'm considering buying another RoS/DB Key if this is up and running like a boss. Edit: We speak of following but the follower actually fights, right?
Yes, it fights... but wait for now, this plugin really requires a big update and improvements. Problems so far: - Bounty mode: wont TP to leader - Rift mode: wont TP to leader - Wont trade legendaries with leader during town runs - Lags If you just plan to use it with Legendary Road profile, it's working (almost) as intended
Thanks for your reply. I was going to use it for pretty basic runs indeed. And only with 1 follower. Why isn't my leader accepting the ressurection of my follower? I know the leader is supposed to be the tanky one but I'm leveling my future leader as my main account has too many friends I won't unfriend. On another note: Is it possible for the the leader to drop everything he loots after he looted it so the follower can loot it all?

When I get a chance, I have not been on since the update on tuesday.. I've been really busy at work and have not had time to get my stuff running again.. Was going to this morning, but the Blizz servers were back down for maintenance again.. Speaking of which, ive been reading back on some of the prior posts.. What I'm going to try to do today to help rrrix and everyone out.. I was going to put together a SimpleFollow report for rrrix.. Want to break it into 2 catagories: 1 - Bugs / Problems 2 - Future Requests Want to put in all the bug reports and troubles everyone is having and then a section with alot of the requests/ideas people have. Really just an attempt to simplify things so when rrrix gets a chance to take a look at this he is not weeding through 10+ pages of posts trying to fix stuff and possibly overlook something. Figure it'd make life easy just having a list of stuff.. Plus kinda prioritize the bug issues over the future requests, since it doesn't really matter what gets "added" if the core program is not running correctly. Already started one several pages ago, but have alot to add to it now.
