[Plugin] AutoFollow 1.260.1

First make it work on one computer. Every 4-core will handle 2x diablo3 + 2xDB. Use AutoFollow plugin on both. Played account will be server, bot as the client. Server will load TrinityNoCombatNoLoot.xml profile from https://www.thebuddyforum.com/threads/trinity-compatible-combat-profiles.132380/ and the client will load FollowerCombat.xml from AutoFollow profiles. Set client's combat routine and all the typical solo DB stuff and you should be able to freely control the server (I vaguely remember it looted for me even the profile name suggests otherwise) and the follower will follow, fight, loot, autodrop items in town (if set to) etc.. Can't remember how town runs worked, if you force them on server, client should do it automatically.

IS there a reason that the bots sometimes or rather frequently don't attack monsters or maybe decide to go stand in a corner?

 

The followers seem to stop following most of the time. Is there a workaround for this? Honestly it is as though they are intentionally trying to separate. They could not actually do a worse job of working together. Is this plugin a troll or something? Also the BArb follows but does not attack anything.

Why do the followers run back and forth 15 times in a row then decide to hoin the group?

Hey guys, I just can't get this to work

I set my leader as server and started up a profile and all it does is:

[AutoFollow.Networking][Server] Initializing Server Service @ http://localhost:10920/ Attempt=16
[AutoFollow.Networking][Server] Server is Invalid
[AutoFollow.Networking][Server] Aborting Faulted Server Service

Over and over again.

Any suggestions? Thanks.

I would wager for some kind of firewall. Never seen more than 1 attempt to Initialize Server Service. I do not see any kind of inbound/outbound rules in the Windows Firewall for my DB, I guess you are using something else for firewalling.

 

Thanks for responding here as well Tempest. Could it be the windows creator update? I have no actual third party firewall installed.

 

YOu might try opening ports 10920 for dinbound and outbound rules if you are using twpoo computers
Also enter you ip addrsss in for the followe

Why does the barb tend o not attack and get lost constantly? Is there some advantage to this?

 

What combat routine you use on the barb? His fight is activated by Trinity, his spells are controlled by the combat routine. If his distance is larger than Catch-up distance set in AutoFollow settings, barb turns combat off and chases the leader. That should be his behavior inside the rifts.

 

I use trinity. The barb attacks at times then he stops. Maybe attacks again. He gets stuck 50 percent of the time i would estimate. I wonder it is is a whirlwind problem. He just walks around next to the monsters.... so bs

What is most frustrating is the other classes dont do that

 

What combat routine within the Trinity?

are you wanting to just follow your friend while manually playing or follow with the bot? You can possibly get the bot to follow your friend, but it'll take some configuration on both ends to get it to work properly...specially if your friend in not "locally" connected.

Necro seems to get lost and then just stuck more often than any other character type.

 

1. for the followers enter your friends ip address were it says Bind address in autofollow settings
2. make sure that you have ports 10920 open for incoming and outgoing rules in firewall advanced settings.

 

i downloaded the z2.60 version but it makes hella lag at 3-4 bot
how can i fix that
