[Plugin] Squire - A Battleground Follower Plugin

I love this plugin, althou it really looks "bottish", even as a healbot :/
I was babysitting my shammy for hours when doing AB and often, the one my shammy followed would target me, look at me, go left, go right, forward, back and so on just to see to test my shammy out. /sigh

It was a test release, which was the reason for the NO AFK'ing statement currently. The movement will smooth out some with next release. Future versions will add increased intelligence at dealing with scenarios like the one you described.

I afked it fine as a furry warrior.

Had some issues with targetting. But never got any whispers or comments about being a bot.

Hope the next release has SOTA and IOC support so we can roll the level 80 random bgs.

 

This would be even more insanely amazing if you could hard code the name of who the bot should be following, so I can have it follow my 5box shaman team... 5 ele shaman with a few resto shamans healbotting them would be awesomesauce....

 

Ok, you got it. I'll add that as another method of selecting the leader.

 

I'll be looking at this, but it won't be the next release. You should be able to run randoms, but Squire won't be active in SotA and IoC. If not let me know as that was my intention.

 

This is exactly what I'm looking for!! I have a team I'm leveling up and want them all to heal my DK ... 4 resto shammies healbotting me!!! Ok, maybe a little overkill, but you get the idea

I tested some with both the dev pre-release and the last test release and was encountering HB issues. It looks like another [TEST] HonorBuddy release has been posted since this afternoon, so I'll run test with it tomorrow night and post a release or an update on current status. Please keep this thread free for issues, constructive criticism, or success stories. If you haven't heard anything, its because there isn't anything to say quite yet.

 

any release date for the next version? (I know Real Life is probably swamping you)

Hay Bobby, Not to be a pest but I know many are egerly awaiting this plugin update. So I was wondering do you have possible ETA on a update? Thanks for the work bro.

 

First of all great plugin. 2 things I have noticed while using it. It has problems getting of the rock in Eye of the Storm and secondly it sometimes fallows healers as an healer

 

This plugin is just great! I'm really waiting for an update!
