I am extremely interested in learning to code my own projects, but for now I just want to limit the scope of my work to enhancing certain games such as SWTOR and World of Tanks and at the same time create and share some useful programs for the Buddy community!

I want to go beyond just adding hotspots..

      ideas include:
      combat parser or anything similar
      automating crafting / crew skills,
enhancing existing apps with a better looking interface
remote control / monitor botting with my tablet or smartphone
enhance the ability to create profiles or make it easier to use
fully working group botting! follow, assist, and more

      etc etc

Can you guys recommend some free online resources to get started?

Most important thing is getting a pirated version of visual studios up and running.

CodenameG wrote an epic guide, cause he's awesome like that

It's for honorbuddy instead of buddy wing but the gist is the same. just learn basic c# and explore their ide and you'll be able to do crazy stuff

Install a source based Linux distro, you'll learn quite a bit just opening up source code trying to figure out why the damn thing wont compile binaries.
