AQ 20 Transmog-gear + BoE epic + Reputation farming (with tutorial)

Hey there,

some of you may have figured it out - there are 2 "buggy" mobs in AQ 20, which will respawn instantly after death, as long as you don't kill the 2nd boss.

Bot-Type: Grind Bot
Mail: Nope
Sell: Tundra Travellers Mammoth, else... nope (you're in a raid dungeon)
Ban-Risk?: Well.. You're in a dungon and you don't even have to reset it...
Loots: Tons of greens (may interesting for enchant mats also), around 3 to 10 blues per hour, here and there an epic
Kph: Depending on your class, gear and CC up to 1500 kills per hour.

Preparation:

Set Mr. Itemremover up like this:


If you don't want to keep the gray items - don't put them on the protected list and then hit "sell all gray items"
Just to mention it:
1 Stack of "Ancient Armor Fragment" will sell for 6 Gold
1 Stack of "Armored Chitin" will sell for 3,50 Gold
In one hour you will probably get around 600-1K gold just from selling the grays

If you want to farm in a row - the Reins of the Traveler's Tundra Mammoth - Item - World of Warcraft is recommended.
So here comes the profile.

Plugins are set up, profile downloaded... what now?
Open a raid!
Ask a guildmate to invite him to a group, log over to an alt-char and also invite this one - now your guildmate can leave and you can open the raid just with your own 2 characters.
Set the loot to ffa obviously - if you still need the "needy" or "greedy" achievment - stay on group loot and hit need / greed until you have the achievments.

Start the Grind Bot on the marked location, ensure to have at least some selfheal, depending on your killspeed you will probably kill 20 mobs per minute, without getting out of combat!

Also all the other mobs standing around are blacklisted and won't be attacked.

So you will be going for green items of the types: Glorious, Exalted, Magnificent which go away in the Auction House for a fair amount of gold (transmogg sets obviously).
Other stuff?
yep, those mobs will also drop:
Shin Blade - Item - World of Warcraft bling bling samurai swords
Blade of Hanna - Item - World of Warcraft Epic samurai sword
Elemental Mage Staff - Item - World of Warcraft By fire be purged!
Staff of Hale Magefire - Item - World of Warcraft And the non-epic version
Skullflame Shield - Item - World of Warcraft probably one of the coolest non-raid shields

Be advised to babysit this profile at least once an hour - obviously longer afkable if you don't want to sell the grays.

Is there something special i can get if i farm the reputation?

 

Hey,

an exalted status with the classic Cenarius faction and the Burning Crusade Cenarius faction (zangarmarsh) you'll get the title "Guardian of Cenarius"

 

Is it not possible to get the bot to exit combat and sell to its tundra mount when bags are full?

 

My bot kills everything around it including General Rajaxx after awhile if it kills the two gladiators too fast, is there a solution to make it not target the packs of mobs around? Must I disable movement/targetting on my CC? I'm using CLU for this, thanks in advance

Already tried to get rid of that with the repair anywhere plugin.
But as far, as there is no plugin to sell with the mammoth at this moment, this will probably only work with a 2nd bot, standing 10 yards away from you with a blank profile and mounted on the mammoth
Still looking forward to a sell plugin for the mammoth :\

have you already tried another CC?
My Frost DK goes at ~1300 kills per hour while farming 2 hours straight in a row and then porting for mailing. While farming for around 10 hours overall this never happened to me, even with targetting and movement activated.
Still it also shouldn't happen, since all these mentioned mobs are blacklisted in the profile

can u make the profile to auto reset when bags are full ? then it will go vendor and repair without the need of mammoth.

 

You're talking about running out of the instance and back into, right?

I'll see if this is possible in a future version, but i also mention, it will look a bit suspicious when more and more people start to run into AQ20 every now and then

 

well, me and a lot of my guildees run aq20 solo every id (twice a week), and some of us even farmed the buggy mobs per hand, so no, i dont think that it will be suspicious. you would be surprised how many oldschool raiders are out there farming their old classic gear.

 

I keep getting Bot Stopped! Reason: This profile does not contain any profiles fitting the character! I have looked and the level range is right.

 

which cc are u using for frost dk ? i only get 800+ kph with my ilvl 400 frost dk =(

 

looks like it doesn't works as endless farm anymore. the 2 mob just stop respawning after some time.

edit : same with post #8, this profile kills the 2nd boss.
