Glad it worked out. You possible couldn't delete the WoW cache folder because wow was running.
Hi, nope it wasn't.
No WoW or Blizz Stuff was open.
When i enable the trial version, my HB crashes.
When I disable the trial version, my HB works smoothly.
It only happens when i use your Pet Battle/Capture from Classic and Crusades.
I am trying to use the three day trial, and alreadya whole day gone by and not been able to use this... How am i suppose to give the trial a fair shot if it doesnt work?
Please fix classic trial .
First up: This is not my trial being broken. It is either your local HB cache or a streaming issue on the BuddyStore. Both of those issues are out of my hands.
Please try these two steps:
Guide: How to clear your Cache
Guide: How to perform a clean Installation
If that does not work, we can assume that it is not an issue with your local installation and you have to contact the Honorbuddy support.
Once your issue is fixed, feel free to post again in this thread so I can reset the trial and you can use it again. Please note that the trial has to be expired for me to reset it. If there is time left, please let it pass and then contact me.
The issue was adressed. (full reinstall of both the game and the bot)
The classic profile still crashes the the client, and stays in loading profile for half hour until I close it, disable it, and restart it using panderia, which works great.
Trial elapses tomorrow morning on the 10th.
Also i can not find the player vs player bot that is needed in the store.
Was it removed?
The player vs player module was never released. Patch 7.0 was released which made most of the good pvp tactics I created obsolete and then I could never get around to implementing the new version being busy with all my other products. It is still on the list though.
Do you happen to have a fresh log of the crash since 2 Studio Companion updates have been released since your initial report?

I have forwarded this to the BuddyStaff since I still believe it is a streaming issue with their servers and not an issue with my product. I'll reply again once I have an answer from them.

Maybe we should try a dual approach. Would you be so kind as to post your log with a description of the the streaming issue to the Honorbuddy Support Forum?
Maybe we have more success this way. I know this is a streaming problem, but maybe you can rile them up in support more than I can in the store skype chat.
Tony said to contact you! So you guys can figure it out. As of this point your pet products haven't performed one iota of expectation. I was so hoping for the pet questing products. Oh well.
Further note, I have no problem dropping a decent amount of money on products that functoin the way they are advertised. But when your products have a domino effect, can't progress with out the functionality of the first one. then all of them fail. Hence every single one I activated for trial, I didn't know. I wanted to see if they work in all the zones. They didn't. Shrugs.
I get that you are heated up and trust me I am frustrated by this situation as much as you are. I am still convinced this is not my fault since people are using my product as of this moment, but you obviously don't believe me.
What I just did is writing another message to the skype store developer channel in hopes of somebody reacting. I also replied to your support request in support forums.
And just so you understand: The individual pet products are just a bunch of XML files. The logic is executed in the Studio Companion plugin. There is no domino effect on my part. The products are independent of each other.
Another store developer suggested, that you could try and fix the streaming issue by changing a different region when you launch HB. If that works, you should be able to switch back afterwards. I still have no reply from the staff on our skype chat.
The questing profiles require a certain set of pets that are gathered from doing one after other. If you dont have pets from the first 5 you can not do the next 5 so on. So the plugins are effected. (when it comes to questing, which is why I wanted to buy the product in the first place.) But the HB bot wont even launch when it's enabled at this point.
I don't really agree with your assessment about the interdependency. It's like saying that it is unfair by Blizzard that you have to buy the classic game of WoW before you buy Legion, because Legion doesn't have level areas for 1-100. Or that my Raid Bundles don't level your character, because the character level is a requirement for it.
And I am well aware about your starting issue, but as you can see, I am not receiving a response by the staff in your support thread either. Tony did reply to other threads after my post, but not to this one so it is an avoidance game.
Either way I am now fairly certain that I am incapable of turning you into a happy customer since
- I can't drive over to the HB servers to fix the issue they are ignoring
- I can't force them to support you if they refuse to
- You are way to deep into the blame game for me to get into your good graces
- You dislike my product structure
So I will stop trying.
Maybe when my pet battle bundle is released, you are willing to give that a shot. Suffice it to say that hundreds of people are using my pet battle products. They work for them and most of them are happy with it.
That is why I am fairly certain the issue is something on your end or between you and Bossland. If my product was broken altogether there would be a shitstorm of people in this thread complaining.
I am sorry to say this, but I can not do anything more for you. We are in a deadlock here. You want me to fix things I can't fix, because it is outside of my control.
You see that's where I get upset. You do have awesome products. i have several that work.
But at the same time with the added frustration of the Lifetime key turned subscription which we have no say or control over, it only stressed the user out when they are spending money or intend to spend money on a product that doesnt function well. Especially now with time being limited. Every moment we can't use somethingm, that is money that we are losing because of the subscription cost, and Tony and his people aren't so eager to credit time.
Like having a glass you can use, but it sits on the shelf because the handle is broken. what's the point. The point is simple. I don't like wasting my money or time,but I enjoy the products. FIX IT! some how, some way both sides need to figure it out.
Yeah, I think I am done accepting that you put the blame for this on me. I have nothing to do with the lifetime key situation and I have nothing to do with the streaming and cache issues that your HB installation is causing for you.
So I am not going to "FIX IT! some how". I know the customer support of HB is bad and I know their outbound communication is straight-up horrible. That does NOT make it my responsibility to fix it and that does not give you the right to berate me just because I, contrary to them, am responding. Sorry. Having a working Honorbuddy installation is something between you and your contract partner for the software license. The streaming of store products falls into the realm of the store owner. In both cases that is Bossland. It is unfortunate that my product is affected, but I will not stand for having my product support threads misused as a battleground for a fight I should not even have a part in.
Any further discussion in this thread that is not a support issue with Pet Battle Studio: Classic will be reported to the forum mods. And I am repeating myself here: Your streaming issue is NOT a product issue!
